My family and I have chosen to participate in a month-long art challenge called Slowvember for the month of November. This Art challenge was designed by Lee White from the Society of Visual Storytelling to be a follow-up challenge after the rigorous October Long Art Challenge called Inktober. Ironically we id not participate in Inktober this year so we are going to prolong week two's activities into week one.
The rules of the art challenge are:
Week 1 - Reflect, Research, Prepare Reference Material
Week 2 - Thumbnail, Values, Color Pallets, Concept Material
Week 3 - Paint and then Analyze
Week 4 - Paint again with feeling!
So we have all our reference material and began by jumping into the concept phase. now we are ready to take 30 days to create one epic level piece of art.

I have chosen Buffy the vampire slayer as my topic of interest. Join me on my journey through this art project, starting with concept work and color pallets, and wrapping with one epic piece of art.
I’ll be posting YouTube videos all month long detailing the process.
The finale of the project will be showcased in the last video and will also feature the Slowvember projects my wife and daughter have been working on. At least my wife has also agreed to do some YouTube commentary for the video as well. So looking forward to that.
Do you participate in any art challenges or have any additional information you would like to share? I'd love to read about I in the comments down below. Thanks as always.
The Final Project and summary for Slowvember 2019 can be found here:
